All is good
Dear Diary :)
Well the doc scheduled me for an MRI and I had that done.. I have emailed everyone on that procedure.. ick :) BUT I did get the results and all is well.. Now we just wait for baby to get here.
I cannot believe that in two months I will have this baby in my arms!!! It is just the most amazing thing in the world..
Other that that, Louisiana is great.. it has cooled down some (in the 50 to 60's) and so it is nice to actually need a jacket ha ha.
I am about half way or so done on my Christmas shopping. I am very excited about that. This year, we are going to get a real tree!! Christmas is my favorite time of year, and now we have so much more to celebrate!
Krista is running for Ms. BRCC at her college.. I hope she wins! She has been doing a lot of campaigning and we made her some posters, they turned out cute!
Well, this is a random post, just wanted to catch you up on what was going on in our lives!

We had a scare
Hey guys!!
Thursday night we kind of had a scare. I got home from work and was cutting potatoes when suddenly I realized that I could not see my finger tips. Every time I would blink, I would see spots, only they would not go away. So I went over to Kelli and Darren's to see what the resident nurses would say to me. Kelli was working and as I was describing it to Darren I realized that now it was not spots, but more like when you are driving and the road is hot and it looks like water on the road (does that make sense) so he gets on the phone with Kelli. As he is talking I lose all focus of his face, it just went black. VERY SCARY! She tells me to call my doctor so I called the answering service.
When the doc calls back he says that I should go to the urgent care. So I called Jett to come home and while I was waiting on him, Kelli got there and took my blood pressure, which was fine. My heartbeat was fine, the baby was moving, I did not feel sick, I was not hurting, I just was blind. HMM, not a good sign.
Slowly, my vision did return, but just to be on the safe side Jett and I went on in to the urgent care. A couple hours later we get the diagnosis, an opthamalic (sp) migrane. Which is strange, when I have been around people with migranes, they have to go to a dark room, everyone has to be silent and they just sleep it off.. but I was not in pain. That is, until they told me it was a migrane.. then of course my head hurt for the next three days :)
A funny story happened while we were at the urgent care though. By the time we got in the room, we had been waiting for over an hour.. so the doc comes in and asks what is going on.. and I tell him I am 28 weeks pregnant and then I tell him my syptoms.. he tells me it is pretty common and we go over what the diagnosis is. Then he asks if I have an obstetrician. Now, at this point, I am just thinking of me being blinded so I don't hear obstetrician, I hear opthamologist (for my eyes) so I tell him, "nope, I don't have one" Of course, he was shocked to hear that and offered me many names of local doctors. It was after he walked out and Jett pointed out to me that he asked for my OB doc that I realized that pregnancy brain (STUPIDNESS) is alive and well with me :) I am sure he thought we were brilliant, being 28 weeks pregnant and not having a doctor. SIGH.. hopefully this will go away after the baby comes!!
I am feeling fine, the headache has gone away and life seems to be going reall good! I have a new friend at work who just started and she is due the same day as I am, so it is really comforting to know someone else who I can compare and talk to about what is going on... plus we will both be on maternity leave together so that will be really fun!!!
Hope this finds you guys doing great :)
We love you all!
