Boo at the Zoo

This past weekend we went to the "Boo at the Zoo" with a few friends. IT was Colton (and Cam's) first group play date, and I must say the kids did wonderful. The parents, well, we are wimps and were wore plumb out!

Ok, so obviously my ability to keep up with this blog with TWO babies is not as good as I had hoped it would be.

Our life has settled into a sort of controlled chaos! We are trying to get a routine down, but dang, it is hard!!

The main thing that we have done since my last post is that Camden, Colton, Dana and I drove to Indiana to surprise Shorrie (Dana and Ricks oldest daughter). Shorrie's hubby Richard helped us surprise Shorrie, she had NO CLUE we were coming. We drove the whole way up there (15 hours) and back without stopping for breaks longer than to get gas. I am telling you, it was rough but the boys did WONDERFUL. On the way back, we had sort of a crazy hair to leave Indiana at 8 30pm and drive all night.. since Dana drove the WHOLE way up there, I drove about 10 hours back and had to take a no doze.. big BIG mistake.. how do people take that crap? The boys slept the whole way, which made that trip much easier!

While we were in Indiana, my dad was actually up there dropping off a load! So, he got to meet Camden for the first time. Colton was THRILLED to see PawPaw J in his big truck.. we were less than thrilled that after that visit every truck Colton saw he said "paw paw big truck".. and let me tell you, there are quite a few 18 wheelers on the road!!

I don't know why I did not take more pictures while we were there, but here are a couple:
